House @ 33 Jalan Seaview
Project Scope: New
Completion: 2017
The design of the house dissolves the line between indoor and outdoor by extending spaces into the landscape and by redesigning wall and facades as porous and layered filters. On the 1st storey, extended cantilevered roof allows a seamless continuation of the interior spaces into the exterior. Internally, the private bedroom spaces are lifted into the upper levels and organised around a bright and lofty double volume family lounge. A light and floating angle stairs connect the volumes of the house. Large picture windows maximise views and promote air circulation while floating timber screens along the facades provides shade and privacy to the users.
