With joyful though last minute change to the design brief due to the addition of a new family member, an attic was added to further expand the family spaces while an adjoining bedroom was reconfigured to allow for convenient access from the master bedroom. The existing swimming pool was expanded and together with the front lawn, these external spaces were seamlessly knitted into the adjacent interior spaces, creating additional spaces and opportunities for the family to enjoy time together. A contemporary palette of natural materials comprising stones and timber imbue the house with a modern yet time-tested and charming character. What truly matters was the ability to craft a home that suited the needs and wishes of the family.
