House @ 32 Allamanda Grove

This contemporary 3-storey with basement corner terrace house is nestled on a tight site, with resulting narrow footprint for each level. To achieve a larger sense of space, the design connected the vertical volumes into a fluid flow of volumes. Large picture windows maximise natural daylight deep into the house to further augment the sense of space. Meanwhile, any heat gain is moderated by an active screen system along the west facing facade. The basement entertainment den is designed with a panoramic viewing panel of the external fishpond, which also allows filtered natural light into a typically dark basement environment.
